Homeland Security Review

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has outlined a long-awaited strategy document, the Quadrennial Homeland Security Review, which details how the department will respond to challenges such as the rise of cyberattacks on public and private sectors.

The review points out that threats to the nation have become more complex, with a single event capable of impacting multiple industries, sectors, and national functions.

To respond, the DHS will focus on deterrence via public-private collaborations, expanding the pool of high-skilled cyber talent, and partnerships with international allies to mitigate threats.
